Click on "Science Spooktacular" to find out more about the 2010 event. The event will be held Friday and Saturday, October 22 & 23, 2010. Friday hours are from 5:30-8:30pm, and Saturday hours are from 10am-4pm.

I propose that we have the following exhibits for our visitors:
1. Zebrafish and their embryos (1 day, 2 day and 3 day) - BIO Collaboration
2. Scanning probe microscopes and their analogues - NANO Collaboration
3. A sense of scale game - NANO Collaboration/ASTRO Collaboration
4. Google Earth/Sky/Moon/Mars and Stellarium - ASTRO Collaboration
5. Test strips and Labquest water testing + Carrie's spooky surprise - ENVIRO Collaboration
6. Portable cosmic ray detectors - Particle Physics
7. Liguid nitrogen - QuarkNet Center

We could use the exhibits as an introduction to our Summer Institutes for K-12 teachers and to our K-12 classroom activities for parents and children.

Not every exhibit needs to be there all three time slots: Friday 5:30-8:30pm, Saturday 10am-1pm and Saturday 1-4pm.

QuarkNet and NDeRC Teachers and Graduate Fellows are encouraged to sign-up for tasks and exhibit time periods in the table below.
