Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz will join us at our sixth annual Collaboration for Education and Research Forum.
Forum Agenda
Superintendent Ritz will be part of a panel discussion framing the issue of teacher quality metrics, entitled: On the road to high quality instruction: creating a culture of support for teachers. The agenda will also feature a discussion of the strategic plan for the Michiana Science and Technology Center (MSTCi), as well as an overview of many professional development opportunities for Michiana STEM educators.

All local K-12 administrators, K-12 teachers and the faculty, staff and students of local colleges and universities interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education and research are invited to attend. The Forum is sponsored by the National Science Foundation and the University of Notre Dame to foster a collegial approach to STEM education and research in Michiana. Last year over 150 STEM professionals participated in the Forum. Registration is free. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided to all registrants.

Registration is now closed.

* A certificate for 5 State of Indiana Professional Growth Points will be awarded to each K-12 administrator and K-12 STEM teacher who attends the full Forum.

  • All of the summer professional development opportunities showcased at the Forum are offered at no cost to K-12 teachers (some carry stipends) and will offer State of Indiana Professional Growth Points to qualifying teachers.
