NDeRC-Peyer Labs Cloning a Fluorescent Gene Workshop
Jordan Hall, University of Notre Dame
June 24-25, 2010

NDeRC is partnering with Peyer Labs (now Gen.otyp) to bring their Cloning a Fluorescent Gene (CAFG) activity to Michiana classrooms. CAFG is a week-long classroom biotechnology where all equipment and materials are shipped to your classroom. Costs are manageable: see the attached brochure. NDeRC is committed to providing some pilot funding, though not all participants in the workshop will be assured of classroom funding from NDeRC. CAFG give students hands-on experience with technology and topics covered in Biology, Genetics and AP Bio courses. You can now register to participate in the CAFG online community at this site.
